Solution Architect – Azure Cloud & Application Integration

What You'll do: - Design and define scalable solution architectures with a strong focus on Azure Cloud and SaaS applications. - Lead application architecture and integration initiatives, promoting the reuse of existing services, methods, and processes. - Produce and maintain solution architecture documentation aligned with both business and technical requirements. - Act as the architecture reference throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency across delivery teams. - Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to explain, defend, and align architectural decisions. - Facilitate architecture workshops and support executive-level discussions and presentations. - Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and GDPR requirements. - Contribute to architecture governance by applying enterprise architecture frameworks and capability models. - Support Agile delivery teams, working with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Who You Are: - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 10–15 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a similar role. - Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, SaaS applications, and application integration architectures. - Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles, frameworks, and capability modeling. - Experience designing integration solutions that maximize reuse and interoperability across enterprise systems. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences. - Proven ability to independently facilitate workshops and drive architecture decisions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to high-quality deliverables. - Experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus. - Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR regulations is highly valued. - Fluent in English (mandatory); Portuguese and/or Spanish are considered an advantage. - Comfortable working in hybrid and global team environments.
