Solution developer

Ontrac Solutions is looking for a Solutions Developer to join the EMEA team of a global leader in risk management software (GRC & Compliance), supporting the design and development of innovative solutions within a global product team. Our client is a globally recognized leader in risk management software, combining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions with Ethics & Compliance Learning resources. They help organizations identify, manage, and mitigate risk from every angle. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering affinity and a passion for supporting and growing solution portfolios, who is highly collaborative, analytical, and results-oriented. As a Solutions Developer, you will use the client's in-house developed platform to design and improve new and existing innovative solutions in the GRC domain, while enhancing their functionality and effectiveness. You will be part of a global team composed of product owners, user experience designers, and solution developers, working within an agile environment and contributing to the continuous improvement of your scrum team's performance and product quality. You'll also be part of a lively development community with extensive experience, offering opportunities to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities Solution Development Use your knowledge and experience together with the team to develop new state-of-the-art solutions Agile Collaboration Participate in the refinement and planning of the work done by your scrum team Stakeholder Engagement Demonstrate solutions to customers and senior leadership Continuous Improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development processes Develop yourself by researching new concepts and ideas and expand your knowledge of programming languages Qualifications Solid understanding of software development and modern application architecture Strong experience with databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and confidence writing efficient SQL queries Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and XML, with the ability to read and understand Java code Experience using modern AI tools to support analysis, troubleshooting, and day-to-day productivity Results-oriented approach and a passion for problem-solving Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a global team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving international environment stretching from America to Asia Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership Compensation In the interest of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is €2,083 – €2,916 gross/month, plus the opportunity for a bonus. This may vary based on location and experience.
