Role at a Glance
Title: Solutions Architect
Team: Customer Success & Account Management
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Remote (APAC)
Why This Role Matters
As a Solutions Architect at Hupo, you'll sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and our enterprise customers. You'll own the technical deployment of Hupo's products across a portfolio of enterprise accounts, making sure our solutions are configured, integrated, tested, and running successfully in real-world environments.
You'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, solve technical problems, and turn one-off needs into scalable solutions. The role is highly hands-on and client-facing, with a strong focus on moving quickly while reducing the amount of work that needs to be done by our core engineering team.
What You'll Do
Deployment & Account Delivery
- Own the end-to-end technical deployment of Hupo's products, from initial build and configuration through UAT, production launch, and post-launch iteration.
- Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned accounts, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent engagements.
Configuration & Customisation
- Configure and customise Hupo's products to meet customer-specific requirements, including business logic, workflows, content, and account-level settings.
- Build and quality-assure client-specific content and configurations based on customer documentation, compliance requirements, and where relevant, different languages and regulatory contexts.
Integration & Technical Solutioning
- Support integrations with customer systems, including LMS, CRM, SSO/identity platforms, APIs, and enterprise hosting and security environments.
- Translate business and commercial requirements into clear technical solutions and repeatable implementation patterns that can scale across customers.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Own the UAT process, including gathering requirements, consolidating feedback, prioritising fixes, and implementing changes where possible.
- Establish and maintain quality standards across deployments, including building or managing testing processes and teams where needed.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot technical issues across Hupo's product and customer environments, resolving the majority independently and escalating to Engineering when deeper product changes are required.
- Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales, including demos, solution scoping, and proofs of concept.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to scope, prioritise, and deliver customer-driven improvements.
- Balance customer requirements with scalability and engineering effort, escalating only when deeper engineering support or novel solutions are required.
- Support customer governance, compliance, and technical reporting requirements where needed.
Process, Documentation & Impact
- Improve implementation processes, tooling, and self-serve capabilities to reduce deployment time and reliance on Engineering.
- Maintain accurate documentation across deployments, integrations, and customer configurations.
- Track implementation performance and account impact, including delivery velocity, engineering effort saved, and revenue enabled or expanded.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you'll:
- Independently own deployments across a portfolio of enterprise customers and drive them from setup through production launch.
- Build a strong understanding of Hupo's products and develop repeatable approaches for solving common customer requirements.
- Become a trusted technical partner to customers while reducing the amount of implementation and troubleshooting work that needs to be handled by Engineering.
- Identify opportunities to improve our deployment processes, tooling, and product so we can scale implementations more efficiently.
You'll also be expected to continuously:
- Adapt and expand your impact as customer and business priorities evolve.
- Take ownership of new technical and customer problems as they emerge.
- Look for ways to turn one-off solutions into scalable, repeatable approaches.
What We're Looking For

- Experience deploying, integrating, or implementing technical products for enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical customers.
- Experience in scrappy, fast-paced startup environments, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and build structure from the ground up.
