As Sourcing Specialist, you shall be responsible for the negotiation and execution of sourcing contracts across the Verizon business teams to achieve the optimum total contract value for Verizon. You’ll be required to effectively manage the steps of the sourcing process including; Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing request review Contract creation, Contract drafting and review with Verizon’s contract management and legal teams together with various stakeholders throughout Verizon IRQ management, CAS initiation and contract execution. You’ll be creating sourcing contracts that gets Verizon the materials and services it needs, in a timely and efficient manner whilst also mitigating risk to Verizon. What you’ll be doing... ● Working in an agile way and managing a variety of categories with a large supply base to meet business demands. ● Performing financial and business data analysis of Verizon requirements ● Supporting development and management of the cross-functional teams (CFT) trainings processes, contract negotiation, contract administration including utilizing sourcing systems. ● Supporting negotiations where ever applicable on the contract terms, clauses or pricing with the suppliers and executing the contract in liaison with the Legal and contract management team that bring in the best possible cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers. ● Managing supplier relationships applicable for key assigned suppliers within the sourcing categories. What we’re looking for... You are self-driven team player who is great at networking. You are adaptable and thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and can work with diverse individuals collaboratively. You will also be an excellent relationship builder with good interpersonal skills. You'll need to have: ● Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience and/or certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS. ● Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain. ● To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. Even better if you have: ● Willingness to work a flexible shift to meet project completion requirements. ● Willingness to continuously learn new tools, solutions, and emerging technologies. ● Ability to lead meetings/conference calls and give presentations to small audiences. ● Comfortably use Verizon approved AI Tools like Gemini and Gemini Notebook. ● Ability to draft the Statement of works/Master agreements/Amendments independently. ● Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications. ● Experience in Indirect Sourcing. ● Knowledge of data analysis, forecasting tools and ability to develop measurable insights from data. ● Knowledge of the legal language, terminologies related to contracting. ● Lean Six Sigma experience Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
