Job Description Specialist Healthcare Your Tasks Handling legally and medically complex bodily injury claims, with a focus on medical malpractice cases Corresponding and conducting personal negotiations with policyholders (including tertiary care hospitals), physicians, attorneys, claimants, relatives, experts, and social insurance providers Assessing litigation prospects and managing ongoing medical malpractice proceedings Coordinating and steering external legal counsel and expert witnesses Your Profile Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with at least one satisfactory state examination Experience in medical law and/or the handling of major bodily injury claims is desirable Experience in claims management within the insurance industry, legal practice, or other relevant professional experience is an advantage Strong negotiation skills and sound decision-making abilities High level of empathy, sensitivity, and tact Pragmatic approach to identifying and developing effective solutions Creativity, teamwork, and a strong commitment to achieving results Excellent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken Flexible working hours Flexitime arrangements and flexible working time models allow for a perfect work-life balance – however it suits you.
