Your Role in Supporting Our Members: As a Marketing Specialist, you will support the planning, execution, optimization, and performance of marketing communications, campaigns, and marketing platforms that help achieve Vancity’s business and brand objectives. You will develop compelling content, coordinate marketing initiatives, and provide guidance to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing tactics are relevant, organized, and aligned with brand standards. This role is ideal for a collaborative marketing professional who combines creativity, analytical thinking, and strong project management skills to deliver exceptional marketing experiences and measurable results. This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at Vancity head office and will report directly to the Manager, Marketing. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands. How You'll Make an Impact: Planning and executing marketing communications, campaigns, and initiatives that support business objectives Monitoring campaign performance and optimizing marketing activities to improve effectiveness and outcomes Developing marketing content that delivers against Vancity’s brand experience and communication standards Creating compelling and relevant communications across a variety of marketing channels and platforms Coordinating marketing projects while ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved Supporting stakeholders with marketing advice, guidance, and recommendations to maximize campaign effectiveness Organizing and maintaining marketing content so audiences can easily access relevant information and resources Analyzing campaign results and identifying opportunities to improve engagement, performance, and return on investment Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated marketing initiatives Ensuring all marketing activities align with brand standards, organizational objectives, and audience needs What You’ll Bring to the Team: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, campaign management, or a related discipline Experience planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns across multiple channels Strong content development and marketing communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience reviewing performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders Experience working with marketing platforms, content management tools, email marketing systems, or digital marketing solutions Extra Skills That Set You Apart: Experience within financial services, credit unions, or highly regulated industries Knowledge of digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM systems, and campaign analytics tools Professional marketing certification or designation from a recognized marketing association You’ll Thrive Here If You Are: Creative – You enjoy developing compelling marketing content and finding new ways to engage audiences. What You’ll Earn: This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $90,200 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
