This hybrid role is based across our Harrogate Head Office and one of our clinic locations (Newcastle, Billingham, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Exeter or Norwich). Working arrangements are: Full-time: 2 days at Head Office, 2 days at a clinic, and 1 day working from home. Part-time (3 days): 1 day at Head Office, 1 day at a clinic, and 1 day working from home. Our services specialise in neurodiversity training built by clinicians for individuals, families, schools and organisations, and in delivering high-quality, evidence-based autism, ADHD assessments through both NHS-funded and private referral pathways. As a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Trainer & Clinical Assessor you will play a key role in the development of training content for our Evolve International Skills and Research Academy, creating training courses and modules about neurodiversity, providing high quality, informed learning packages for parents, individuals, businesses and educational settings. Our training aims to support and empower people to be in neuroinclusive in their businesses & settings as well as enriching people’s leaning to help them better understand themselves and others. In addition, you will contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses that enable children, young people, their families and adults to access appropriate support and achieve improved outcomes. You will be responsible for: Specialist Neurodevelopmental Training Writing evidence based training modules about neurodiversity Deliver training sessions for online and in person learning modules on a regular basis, ensuring the effective delivery of the agreed training programme and content plan. Deliver specialist training including “Train the Trainer” and discipline specific training Work in collaboration with Evolve International Skills & Training Academy team and manager to develop the training content plans, training module structures and marketing plans Have direct input into the development of training content plans Offering consultancy in neuroinclusive for schools and business throughout the UK Specialist Neurodevelopmental Assessment: Conducting face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process. Conducting remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom Participating collaboratively in peer MDT diagnostic discussions , supported by senior clinicians where needed Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families Producing accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations , with the help of our smart tools Working efficiently to meet service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Delivering clinical supervision (where applicable) Able to travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments, (hybrid only) Qualifications and experience: Minimum of 5 years' professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England . Such as: HCPC – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist NMC – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse GMC – Medical Practitioners Social Work England – Social Worker Minimum of 1 years’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc Effective time management and caseload organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet clinical deadlines Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions. Highly developed written language skills used to produce high-quality clinical reports Strong research skills with the ability to translate findings into structured, engaging training modules. Experience of delivering online live training Well-developed communication skills with children, young people their families and adults, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions throughout the assessment process Ability to travel to throughout the UK as required to deliver training Candidates must be based in a commutable distance of our Harrogate Head Office and one day in one of our Clinic’s (Newcastle, Billingham, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Exeter, Norwich) Must be eligible to work in the UK About Evolve International Skills & Research Academy Evolve Psychology: At Evolve Psychology, we do things differently.
