Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Revenue Recognition Analyst to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and support financial reporting in our growing SaaS fintech company. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams (legal, sales, PMO) to interpret contracts, assist in audits, and apply U.S. GAAP standards for accurate revenue recognition. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Recognition: Apply ASC 606 standards to ensure accurate revenue recognition for SaaS and on-premise contracts. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. Contract Review: Collaborate with legal and sales teams to interpret contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the PMO and Project Managers to gain a deep understanding of project progress and status. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Process Improvement: Help optimize internal controls and revenue recognition procedures. Netsuite Support (Preferred): Leverage Netsuite or similar systems for financial reporting and revenue processes. Required Experience: 5-8 years of experience in revenue recognition, financial reporting, or similar roles within SaaS or fintech. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP. Ability to interpret contracts and collaborate across teams. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems. SaaS or fintech industry experience is a plus. NetSuite ARM experience is a plus but not required Key Traits: Attention to Detail: Accuracy in revenue recognition and reporting. Collaborative: Able to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
