About the Role Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a Specimen Collection Support Lead to oversee and support a team of Specimen Collectors across an assigned territory. This role combines hands-on collection, leadership, training, and client support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both operational execution and team development. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant specimen collection services, while supporting clinic partners and driving team performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage assigned Specimen Collectors, providing coaching, guidance, and support Serve as a liaison between field teams, leadership, and clients to ensure alignment and service excellence Travel to clinics within your territory to support coverage, training, and client needs as needed Onboard and train new Specimen Collectors and support ongoing skill development Ensure all collection activities meet SOPs, compliance standards, and quality expectations Support implementation and use of Electronic Lab Requisitions (FLUID/ELR) Monitor team performance, identify training gaps, and address compliance concerns Assist with new client setup, site coverage planning, and operational coordination Maintain accurate records for specimen collection, shipping, and reporting Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve field issues and improve processes Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of Aegis Specimen Collection or Field Services experience OR 2+ years of external collection experience Leadership experience (training, mentoring, coordinating, or leading projects) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities Comfortable interacting with clients, patients, and cross-functional teams Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory Work Environment Travel required as need to support clinic locations across a territory Remote work from home when not traveling Work performed in clinic and healthcare environments, including handling biological specimens Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
