Speech Language Pathologist ($1,500 Sign-On Bonus) Developmental Pathways Aurora Office - Aurora, CO 80012 Apply Overview Salary Range $76,839.00 - $91,246.00 Salary/year Position Type FT - 40 hrs/week Job Shift Day Education Level Bachelors Apply Description Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families? Join our community-based team and help children reach their fullest potential through meaningful early intervention services. Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking an SLP in our Early Intervention (EI) Department to provide therapy services in children’s natural environments and through telehealth. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Early Intervention (EI) guidelines, documentation standards, and funding requirements while delivering high-quality, family-centered care. Why Join Us Enjoy a 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday) while maintaining a full-time, 40-hour schedule Build meaningful relationships with children and families through a community-based model focused on developmental support and family-centered care Serve a local territory with regular visits in Parker, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, and Aurora Manage a balanced caseload averaging 5 to 7 client visits per day, allowing time for quality care and collaboration Work alongside a passionate team dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families through early intervention services What You’ll Do Deliver early intervention speech-language therapy services to children ages 0 to 36 months with speech, communication, language, hearing, and voice delays or disorders, helping them achieve key developmental milestones Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) using a coaching, play-based, and consultation-based approach Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance, including assessment reports, billing, Medicaid requirements, and coordination with community partners What You Bring Required Experience Two (2) years’ experience in the relevant field Specialty certification (ASHA) Active DORA licensure in Colorado Demonstrated experience with specific programmatic concepts, practices, and procedures Education Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate from an accredited therapy program Additional Requirements Must reside in Colorado Must be able to meet physical demands to include bending or twisting of the body, lifting, standing time, and sitting time to include floor play/therapy, etc. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (or approved alternative) Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Nice to Have Working knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance billing Knowledge of rules and regulations for Early Intervention Prefer additional experience in an area directly related to job assignment Knowledge of rules and regulations for the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Qualifications Compensation & Benefits $76,839 - $91,246 annually + an additional $1,500 sign-on bonus Health/dental/vision coverage Employer-paid and supplemental life insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Generous paid time off and holiday pay Flexible work schedule Monthly remote work stipend 401(k) investment plan, with an employer match of up to 4% Mileage reimbursement Tuition reimbursement program Certified Employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Healthcare reimbursement and flexible spending plan Discounts on auto and homeowners’ insurance Employee assistance program Credit union membership Employer-paid training About Developmental Pathways Since 1964, DP has supported more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families across Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties. You Belong: https://www.dpcolo.org/about-us/inclusion-and-diversity/ Additional Responsibilities May be asked to support categorical assessments and initial Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development for children who are categorically eligible for Early Intervention services Adhere to Medicaid regulations when this is a funding source (i.e., EVV) Help families determine priorities for service Develop and maintain working case files per department policies and procedures Submit billing and supporting documentation timely Assure paperwork submitted by other service providers, individuals in service, and community partners is completed, distributed, and filed as required Partner with service coordinators, Child Find teams, and other community partners who serve young children to deliver early intervention services Attend and participate in IFSP and care coordination meetings; schedule and facilitate meetings as needed Maintain EI Provider and billing portal Ensure adherence to Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/DIDD rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures in the provision of services. Assists in assuring full compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulatory guidelines May be asked to participate in the supervision of Clinical Fellow Year through CFY Program Speech Language Pathologists can earn credentialing on the job.
