Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex avionics systems, focusing on Automatic Flight Control Systems for Business, Regional, and General Aviation platforms, including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and future UAM/UAS, within the most advanced integrated flight deck. You will play a crucial role in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers, engaging in every aspect of the systems lifecycle from business development to product end of life. You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Conduct requirement analysis and decomposition for avionics systems. Design and architect systems solutions that align with customer needs. Engage in model-based systems development and integration activities. Perform systems validation and verification to ensure compliance with regulations. Interact with customers to gather feedback and requirements. Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 6 years of experience in flight controls or other avionics or engineering programs. WE VALUE Experience with all aspects of automatic flight controls systems. General avionics experience and knowledge. Understanding of the systems or software development lifecycle. Aerospace Engineering majors. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt as program needs dictate. Effective communication skills.
