Role Summary The Senior Advisor Digital Strategy, Individual Dental serves as a key strategic partner responsible for advancing the digital strategy, capability roadmaps, and cross-functional execution needed to support Individual Dental sales and distribution channels. This role translates sales, broker, partner, and operational priorities into actionable digital roadmaps and business requirements that enable broker engagement, sales growth, distribution effectiveness, commissions readiness, customer and broker experience improvements, and scalable operating models. The Senior Advisor partners closely with Sales & Distribution leadership, Marketing, Operations, IT, Product, Finance, Compliance, vendor partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to bridge strategic business needs with technology delivery and execution discipline. The role supports both IT development efforts and broader business initiatives, particularly when cross-functional alignment, dependency management, business readiness, and stakeholder coordination are required to deliver measurable outcomes. Job Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and communicate digital strategy and capability roadmaps that support Individual Dental sales, broker engagement, strategic distribution partners, call center enablement, commissions processes, and broader sales and distribution priorities. Partners with teams to translate business strategy into executable digital plans, roadmap priorities, business requirements, sequencing recommendations, and delivery trade-offs aligned to revenue growth, operational efficiency, broker experience, customer experience, and long-term scalability. Serve as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Product, Finance, Compliance, external vendors, and distribution leadership to ensure digital initiatives are aligned, prioritized, and executed with clear ownership, dependencies, risks, readiness needs, and business outcomes. Support all efforts related to broker strategy, including broker enablement, broker experience, digital distribution capabilities, partner-facing tools, communication needs, training readiness, broker support workflows, and market-facing execution. Lead or support cross-functional business projects where alignment across sales, marketing, operations, technology, vendors, and distribution partners is required to advance strategic priorities, remove barriers, and drive execution. Document and refine business requirements, user stories, process flows, readiness plans, operating impacts, stakeholder needs, and value drivers to support IT development, Agile delivery, platform enhancements, release planning, and business adoption. Identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end broker, customer, partner, and internal user experience through digital capabilities, automation, process redesign, data visibility, platform improvements, and clearer operating routines. Partner with IT and enterprise technology teams to support intake, prioritization, solution design, dependency management, testing readiness, implementation planning, issue escalation, adoption, and post-implementation value tracking. Support strategic initiatives that connect sales, marketing, and operations, including go-to-market readiness, broker and partner communications, sales enablement, platform launch activities, training development, and operating model changes. Monitor digital roadmap progress, business readiness, risks, decisions, dependencies, stakeholder engagement, adoption measures, and value realization; prepare updates and recommendations for leaders and cross-functional partners. Build trusted relationships across business and technology teams and serve as a collaborative thought partner who can connect workstreams, simplify complexity, influence decisions, and drive accountability in a matrixed environment. Scope / Impact Supports the digital strategy, roadmap planning, and execution model for Individual Dental sales and distribution channels, including broker enablement, distribution partner capabilities, commissions-related efforts, and cross-functional business initiatives. Influences roadmap sequencing and prioritization by connecting sales and distribution needs to customer and broker experience, operational readiness, technology capacity, compliance needs, revenue enablement, and cost-to-operate considerations. Contributes to delivery outcomes across matrixed business stakeholders, IT teams, marketing partners, operations teams, finance partners, vendors, call center partners, and distribution leadership. Improves alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and technology by clarifying business needs, connecting dependencies, supporting readiness, and helping translate strategic priorities into executable work. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, operations, marketing, technology, finance, or related field, or equivalent proven experience. 7+ years of experience in digital strategy, sales operations, distribution strategy, broker enablement, business transformation, product ownership, technology delivery, business analysis, process improvement, or related functions. Experience supporting digital roadmaps, business requirements, Agile delivery, IT development efforts, technology enhancements, release readiness, or cross-functional solution delivery. Strong understanding of sales and distribution channels, broker relationships, strategic partner models, call center support, customer and broker experience, and regulated health insurance operating environments. Experience supporting broker strategy, sales enablement, commissions processes, partner-facing capabilities, operational workflows, or distribution support functions. Demonstrated ability to lead work through influence in a matrixed environment, align stakeholders across functions, manage competing priorities, and drive clarity around ownership, decisions, risks, and dependencies. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect digital capabilities, technology roadmaps, operational needs, revenue goals, broker and customer experience, compliance considerations, and resource constraints. Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, relationship-building, and executive communication skills, including the ability to translate complex business and technology concepts into clear recommendations and actionable plans. Preferred Qualifications Experience within Individual Dental, individual health insurance, sales operations, broker distribution, or related regulated healthcare environments. Experience with Salesforce.com, digital sales platforms, broker or partner portals, quoting, enrollment, commissions, CRM, reporting, or distribution technology capabilities. Experience supporting product ownership, business readiness, change management, user acceptance testing, release planning, training development, communications, or adoption measurement. Experience working with marketing, sales, operations, technology, call center, vendor, and finance partners to deliver cross-functional initiatives that improve broker, customer, partner, or internal user experience. Ability to operate independently, anticipate issues, connect related initiatives, synthesize complex information, and provide practical recommendations that support senior leadership decisions.
