Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications and backend data validation using Playwright and TypeScript. • Collaborate with the QA Lead to enhance and maintain automated GUI tests using our existing custom framework. • Develop automation scripts to validate key regression flows in the application covering multiple layers, Front End, APIs and Data validations • Implement automated checks for data completeness, format validation, and cross-referencing with expected results to identify discrepancies. • Participate in designing and executing comprehensive automation test strategies to maximize test coverage. • Analyze application requirements, design and execute test scenarios, and provide feedback to improve overall test coverage and product quality. • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on end-to-end automation testing. • 5+ years of experience in Web GUI and API automation. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript. • Strong experience with SQL for querying and validating large datasets. • Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines for test automation • Familiarity with Playwright MCP is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Skills & Technologies • UI Testing: Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory). • Programming Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript (mandatory). • Databases: SQL Server (mandatory), Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent. • API Testing Tools: Postman, SoapUI, or similar. • Bug Tracking: JIRA. • CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps. • Source Control: GitHub, Azure DevOps. • IDEs: Visual Studio Code or equivalent.
