Role Overview The Sr. AVP (D2) – Senior Principal Architect, Technology Cloud & Infrastructure is a foundational technology leadership role responsible for shaping EXL’s cloud, infrastructure, and agentic‑AI‑ready architecture at enterprise scale. This role operates at the intersection of architecture, security, automation, and business outcomes, providing deep technical stewardship while influencing senior stakeholders across business, delivery, risk, and governance. The incumbent will act as a technology authority, solution catalyst, and strategic advisor, ensuring platforms are secure‑by‑design, scalable‑by‑default, and outcome‑aligned. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Strategy Define and evolve enterprise cloud and infrastructure architecture across multi‑cloud, hybrid, and AI‑native environments, aligned to business strategy and growth priorities. Architect and enable enterprise solutions delivering 90%+ efficiency across design, build, and deployment cycles Architect agentic‑AI‑ready platforms, enabling experimentation, prototyping, and secure enterprise adoption of emerging AI and automation capabilities. Well versed with tools like Claude, Replit, Cursor, LangSmith, Open Claw, Mostly, Copilot, Gemini, Pytorch, NemoClaw, Antigravity etc. Well versed with Frameworks like NVIDA Nemo, CrewAI, LangGraph etc. Establish reference architectures, standards, and guardrails for cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, and AI workloads. Cloud, DevSecOps & Automation Knowledge of multi-cloud environment like GCP, Microsoft, AWS, OCI. Drive CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code adoption across platforms, embedding security, compliance, and resilience into delivery pipelines. Design and govern DevSecOps frameworks enabling rapid, repeatable, and policy‑compliant deployment of enterprise solutions. Champion automation across provisioning, configuration, observability, and operational workflows. Security‑Aligned Architecture Embed security thinking deeply into architecture design, with strong alignment to SIEM, CNAPP, Run time Security and cloud security, identity (including Identity for AI), and zero‑trust principles. Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure architectures meet regulatory, audit, and enterprise assurance requirements. Act as a senior design authority for secure AI, cloud, and infrastructure solutions. Solution Leadership & Problem Solving Lead complex, cross‑domain solutioning for strategic initiatives, client‑facing platforms, and internal transformation programs. Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, scalable, and secure technology solutions. Provide architectural oversight for critical programs, ensuring design integrity and outcome realization. Stakeholder & Executive Engagement Engage credibly with senior management, business leaders, and technology partners, articulating complex concepts with clarity and confidence. Influence decision‑making through executive‑grade communication, architectural rationale, and risk‑reward framing. Mentor architects and senior engineers, raising the overall architecture maturity of the organization. Core Skills & Expertise Agentic AI & Emerging Technologies: Strong conceptual and architectural understanding of agentic AI platforms, AI infrastructure, and secure AI adoption models. Multi‑Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise across major cloud platforms with strong grounding in hybrid and enterprise integration patterns. DevSecOps & CI/CD: Proven ability to design and govern CI/CD pipelines with embedded security, compliance, and quality controls. Security‑First Mindset: Practical alignment with SIEM, CNAPP, cloud security, AI identity, and policy‑driven controls. Solution Architecture: Exceptional ability to design end‑to‑end solutions spanning infrastructure, platforms, security, and applications. Executive Communication: Ability to communicate succinctly, persuasively, and confidently with senior leadership and business stakeholders. Certifications (Preferred / Strongly Desired) Cloud Architecture: AWS, Azure, or GCP Professional / Architect‑level certifications DevSecOps & Automation: Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, or DevOps‑focused certifications Security & Risk: Certifications aligned to Cloud Security, CNAPP, SIEM, Zero Trust, or Secure AI domains Enterprise Architecture: TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks (desirable) AI / Emerging Tech: Certifications from leading AI providers like Microsoft, NVIDIA, Google, AWS, Claude, OpenAI
