At Quickbase, we help organizations build better ways to run their operations. Our products give teams the flexibility to create applications around how their work actually happens, connecting people, information, and processes so they can keep work moving as needs change. For more than 25 years, organizations have turned to Quickbase to solve operational challenges that off-the-shelf software wasn't built for. Today, we’re building on that foundation with new products and new possibilities for how people create, adapt, and improve the systems their work depends on. Working at Quickbase means helping find better ways forward. We’re a team of curious, collaborative people who care about solving problems, learning as we go, and building things that make work better for our customers and each other. Title: Senior Business Product Manager, Core Systems Reports to : Manager, Business Product Management Level : P3 (Senior) | Individual Contributor Location : Remote, US The Role Quickbase's go-to-market motion runs on Salesforce — and the handoffs between lead, opportunity, customer, and support are where things break down if no one owns the whole arc. This role exists to be that owner: one BPM accountable for Salesforce end-to-end. The Business Product Manager, Core Systems owns the problem before the solution for the platforms that power how Quickbase generates, converts, and retains customers — Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud). You are the named system owner for these platforms. At P3 (Senior), you fully own the Core pod backlog end-to-end: independently leading discovery, producing build-ready requirements across problems ranging from straightforward to highly complex, and tracking outcomes post-launch. You've built enough credibility with RevOps, Marketing Ops, and CX stakeholders to challenge a request and offer a stronger alternative. What You Will Do Own the Problem, Not the Ticket Diagnose the cause behind incoming requests across the lead-to-customer-to-support arc — a ticket describes a symptom; your job is to define the right solution Independently lead discovery and requirements elicitation spanning lead management, opportunity workflows, and support/service processes Own intake quality for the Core pod — nothing enters the sprint without a complete, build-ready story Proactively identify process improvements and root-cause issues before they surface as tickets — spotting patterns across requests, not just responding to what's already broken Backlog & Roadmap Ownership Own the end-to-end product backlog for Core systems — Salesforce (Sales + Service Cloud) across the full customer lifecycle Maintain a prioritized, outcome-linked roadmap — staying close to business priorities and ensuring what gets prioritized in the backlog is aligned to them Lead intake, triage, sprint planning, backlog grooming/refinement, technical alignment calls, and sprint retrospectives Requirements & Delivery Translate lifecycle requirements — lead routing, opportunity workflow changes, support process redesigns — into build-ready user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation Build and maintain a close, ongoing partnership with the Core Architect — not a checkpoint at scoping, but continuous alignment on every request, so feasibility and design risk are surfaced early and what gets built is scalable from day one Own acceptance criteria and coordinate UAT with stakeholders; define "done" against measurable outcomes Maintain Jira intake and sprint hygiene as a daily habit — clean ticket structure and a board that always reflects real delivery state Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary Core pod contact for Revenue Ops, Marketing Ops, and Customer Experience Own and run stakeholder cadences for Core systems — recurring 1:1s and working sessions with stakeholders, async updates as needed Proactively coordinate cross-functional syncs at each key moment — kickoff, technical scoping with Architecture and Engineering, and UAT with business stakeholders — bringing in the right audience at the right time Collaborate across pods and cross-BU delivery teams — Commercial (at the Q2C handoff), Intel Ops, and AI & Automation — to keep Core initiatives aligned with work happening elsewhere in ETE Communicate status on a consistent, predictable rhythm — in progress, blocked, UAT, completed — without stakeholders needing to ask Keep stakeholders aligned to each other — surface conflicting priorities across RevOps, Marketing Ops, and CX early and drive them to resolution Maintain current decision logs and status documentation in Confluence AI & Automation Adopt AI as part of daily habits — building Claude skills and projects that create repeatable efficiencies and standardized processes across the Core pod Identify automation opportunities proactively within lead, opportunity, and support workflows Core Systems Domain Knowledge Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud — data model, workflow logic, and configuration patterns well enough to translate business need into buildable requirements Familiarity with third-party GTM tech stack — tools like Marketo, Outreach, Gong, and ZoomInfo, and how they integrate with Salesforce Full lifecycle context — lead capture through opportunity, customer onboarding, health/renewal, and support Q2C seam awareness — Core owns the opportunity and renewal process in Salesforce; Commercial owns the downstream quote-to-cash process — quoting, CPQ, subscriptions, invoicing, and billing/finance systems. This role needs context on where that handoff happens. What We Look For Problem ownership — you define what the business needs, not just what they asked for Stakeholder credibility — you've built enough trust with RevOps, Marketing Ops, and CX leadership to challenge a request and offer a stronger alternative Technical fluency, not technical execution — you understand Salesforce and the GTM stack well enough to challenge a poor tradeoff; you're not expected to configure the platform yourself AI-forward orientation — you see automation opportunities across the lifecycle proactively Delivery discipline — you follow through, close the loop, and measure whether it worked Qualifications Level-Calibrated Experience — P3 (Senior) 4–6 years in product management, business analysis, business systems, or revenue/customer operations Demonstrated experience independently owning a backlog end-to-end Strong domain depth spanning at least two of: lead/opportunity management, customer health/renewal, GTM operations Experience partnering with RevOps, Marketing Ops, or CX leadership on process design or systems strategy Comfortable operating in a cross-timezone model with US-based stakeholders and India-based delivery teams Preferred Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Manager, or equivalent Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA Salesforce Administrator certification, or other relevant platform/product certifications Deep fluency in Salesforce (Sales + Service Cloud) at a requirements/configuration-aware level Background in PE-backed or high-growth B2B SaaS Active use of Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI tools as part of daily work Sourcing Guidance Senior Business Product Manager Senior Business Systems Analyst (Product Owner track) Revenue/GTM Systems Product Manager Customer Lifecycle Product Owner Product Manager / Product Owner — RevOps, Sales Ops, or CS Ops How We Think About AI At Quickbase, we view AI as a tool to accelerate how work gets done — not replace it. We encourage thoughtful use of AI to improve speed, quality, and decision-making, while maintaining strong judgment, accountability, and data integrity.
