Accurately codes and abstracts complex outpatient surgery procedures. Assigns ICD10-CM diagnosis and CPT-4 procedure codes, per established national, departmental guidelines and AHIMA Code of Ethics. Maintains organized system for personal coding reference material. Participates in educational activities and maintains coding skills. What’s Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information is required. CCS certification and 2 years coding experience will be considered. Certification as a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is required. Two years’ previous coding experience using ICD10-CM, CPT-4 coding systems (Outpatient Senior Coder). Are you Munson Material? Apply today!
