As a Senior Corporate Project Analyst, you will join our Project Management Office to monitor and control the progress and performance of small to medium and larger sized projects. Typical responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Facilitating project meetings, drafting of project documentation and financials, and conducting ad hoc analysis of project metrics; • Supporting the PMO Manager in conducting project health check assessments and lessons learned • Liaising and working with divisional resource managers to identify employees to staff projects and reflect these resources in relevant project documents; • Analyzing financial, verbal, or written information to identify potential issues as well as develop recommendations and/or solutions that would impact the project delivery; • Conducting background research and compilation of data to draft key project governance and/or control documents and preparing customized financial reports for audiences at various levels of the organization including senior management level or above. • Supports the Project Manager in managing project scope, cost, schedule, and risks throughout the project lifecycle. Position Requirements: You possess a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in project delivery and/or project management role, having worked within a formalized and structured Project or Program Management office. Successful candidates will also have: • Knowledge of generally accepted project management principles and methodologies to facilitate, monitor and assess project activities; • Ability to understand the context of project plans in order to facilitate and monitor planning project activities; • Skills to develop control changes and recommending preventative actions in anticipation of possible project issues; • Experience facilitating discussions and meetings to gather, exchange information, or provide recommendations and/or solutions on project requirements and deliverables; • Ability to handle multiple demands and meeting of critical timelines; • Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, financial management software (such as SAP), Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint • Proficiency in information management tools such as SharePoint site creation and setup of libraries, and development of reports using Tableau reporting platform. • Proficiency in Agile issue tracking products such as Jira for development of burn-down charts, Kanban, and agile project life cycle • To adapt to changing demands and schedules within a fast paced project environment • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills • Ability to work well with others and ability to influence others to get things done on time • A self-starter with a proactive work style.
