Sr. Data Steward Apply Role Overview: We are looking for Data Stewards to support data governance , data quality , and regulatory compliance initiatives in a banking environment. The role focuses on strengthening regulatory reporting processes, resolving data quality issues, maintaining business glossaries, implementing data quality controls , and contributing to BCBS239 -related activities, including data lineage definition Key Responsibilities: Support data governance and data management activities across regulatory reporting processes Identify, analyze, and help resolve data quality issues Maintain and improve business glossaries and data definitions Implement and monitor data quality controls Define and document data lineage across relevant systems and reporting flows Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements Contribute to compliance with BCBS239 and internal data governance standards Must-Have Requirements: Experience in data governance , data management , or similar roles Experience in the banking or financial services industry Strong SQL skills Strong data analysis capabilities Understanding of data warehousing and reporting Knowledge of database structures Experience with MS Office , JIRA , and Confluence Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Excellent communication skills Fluent English, written and spoken Nice to Have: Experience with regulatory reporting Knowledge of BCBS239 Business knowledge of banking products , systems, and processes Experience with data lineage frameworks Experience with data quality frameworks 👍 English: upper-intermediate 🌍 Location: 📩 Ready to Join?
