Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and architects to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Oversee the design, development, validation, debugging, and optimization of software across multiple layers of the technology stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, applications, and platforms. - Define clear objectives, set measurable goals, and foster accountability for team performance. - Drive execution excellence by managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure project success. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering and product management, to align software development with Intel's strategic objectives. - Serve as a role model for Intel's values by inspiring trust, developing the capabilities of others, and creating an environment where diverse perspectives are valued. - Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide support, and integrate feedback into product improvements. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics • 20+ years of software development experience. • 5+ years of direct people-management experience leading software engineering teams. • Proven experience delivering complex software products through the full development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, validation, release, and support). • Strong technical depth in relevant domains such as: - Systems software - Firmware - GPU/graphics software - AI/ML software - Cloud or distributed systems Preferred Qualifications: • Strong C/C++ expertise. • Experience with device drivers (KMD/UMD). • Knowledge of graphics APIs such as: - DirectX - Vulkan - OpenGL • Experience with GPU architecture, compiler technology, runtime software, or graphics stacks. • Experience working with hardware bring-up, emulation, validation, and silicon enablement. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $271,620.00-383,460.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. However, you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, in which Intel has a legal presence.
