The Opportunity:
The
Sr. Director, Supply Chain
establishes and governs the global supply chain strategy across all regions and business segments, ensuring alignment with corporate growth, profitability, resilience, and customer experience objectives. The role partners with the VP, Supply Chain to set the long-term supply chain strategy for BMP Chemicals and independently translates that strategy into a supply chain operating model, priorities, and execution roadmap.
Once established, The Sr Director, Supply Chain owns the supply chain COE and is accountable for developing and executing action plans to achieve the established targets. This leader is responsible for the orchestrating the entire supply chain management of all product lines. This includes raw material planning and inventory management of raw materials, production planning and scheduling of finished goods. This position is also responsible for communicating warehousing needs of finished goods and the distribution of the finished goods through the end-to-end global supply chain for single sourced products.
This role has global responsibility across BMP Chemicals and influences outcomes across multiple business segments, manufacturing sites, regions, and functional organizations. This also includes reporting metrics and organizing standard meetings to drive visibility and improvement into supply chain performance, including trade compliance.
What we're looking for
Education:
Masters in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field required
MBA preferred
Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) are preferred
Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years in commercial and operations-oriented activities with at least eight (8) years in key management roles directly responsible strategic leadership in Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning functions
Deep knowledge of planning / S&OP process and understanding of business / financial goals to provide strategic direction is required
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all functions
Chemical industry experience
In depth knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP/APO experience required
Demonstrated use of OpEx/ABS/or other continuous improvement techniques and methodology to lead improvement efforts through effective problem solving and implementation of corrective action plans
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and working both globally and cross-functionally
Understanding of financial impact of plans and actions
Well-developed project management skills
Strong strategic agility, change leadership, collaboration, and influence skills
Proven ability to lead and develop a global organization effectively
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive management
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Strong organizational and time management skills

Creates/Develops/Communicates supply chain strategy in line with business strategy.
Accountable for supply chain financial performance, including working capital, inventory reserves and exposure, productivity, service, cost-to-serve, and realized financial benefits delivered through supply chain decisions. Develops and executes budgets and action plans to achieve established targets.
Provides leadership and ownership across Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Network Supply Strategy.
Leads a global organization comprised of directors and/or senior managers, accountable for organizational capability, succession depth, leadership pipeline, workforce strategy, organizational design, and development of future supply chain leaders across the supply chain function.
Defines and approves enterprise supply chain policies associated with BMP Chemicals, planning standards, inventory governance models, and performance frameworks adopted globally.
Drives the use of consistent tools and processes across functions, enabling all functions to optimize results. Works collaboratively with global sourcing to help resolve chronic supply issues.
Establishes decision rights and resolves cross-functional tradeoffs involving service, inventory, capacity, sourcing, cost, and customer commitments; escalates only decisions requiring executive or enterprise approval.
Co-owns with the Sr. Director, Demand Planning the BMP Chemicals Integrated Business Planning and S&OP governance framework, including decision rights, scenario evaluation, executive reviews, and cross-functional accountability.
Represents BMP Chemicals supply chain interests with strategic suppliers, customers, manufacturing partners, and external stakeholders as appropriate.
Serves as the primary supply chain advisor to executive leadership, influencing portfolio, capital investment, customer service, sourcing, and growth decisions.
Ensures Maintenance and accuracy of master data.
Leads the supply chain transformation agenda, including process standardization, digital enablement, advanced analytics, planning-system evolution, and sustained adoption across the organization.
Ensures capacity and capabilities are in place to deliver business unit growth and innovation plans across all business segments.
Owns global supply chain risk management, business continuity planning, geopolitical risk mitigation, critical supplier resiliency, and strategic inventory policies. Leads supply chain response to major disruptions, including supplier failures, geopolitical events, quality issues, natural disasters, and capacity constraints, coordinating executive decisions and recovery plans.
Establishes the enterprise manufacturing and distribution supply network strategy, including nearshoring/reshoring decisions, external manufacturing strategy, long-term capacity planning, and a three- to five-year supply chain roadmap aligned with growth, innovation, productivity, resilience, and network strategy.
Manages development, roll-up and communication of impact of demand forecasting and inventory management to finance and manufacturing operations.
Develops, communicates and monitors production plans to meet customer service and inventory targets in partnership with manufacturing sites.
Owns enterprise supply chain performance, including inventory turns, service levels, working capital, and supply chain productivity across BMP Chemicals business segments.
Drive business decisions on supply tradeoffs required in S&OP or S&OE
Participates in new product development teams in introduction and release of new products and if applicable, phase out of old product, control inventory levels and customer service implications related to bringing products on-line and effective reduction of obsolete inventory exposure.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$167,500.00 - $282,325.00
Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
