The result of our work means companies can more predictably on-time, while providing accurate financial information to the CFO Role Summary: The Front End Engineer is a full time role responsible for architecting and building our front end in conjunction with our Head of Product & Chief Technology Officer. The role requires a hybrid of technical knowledge and a depth of understanding about the business case for our application. What You’ll Do In this role, you will build skills and experience beyond traditional engineering jobs. You’ll be working alongside an exceptional team of established Engineering and UX professionals to deliver a well-scoped project with established market interest. Implement features and user interfaces in React/Typescript Execute the design, and development of our frontend applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive user interfaces Champion best practices, code quality, and standards across the frontend team Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in frontend development, incorporating them into our development processes as appropriate Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs written in Python with Django Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap, providing insights and recommendations for improving our frontend architecture and development processes About You: Front End Software Engineer with a desire to advance your career within a full time role at a company where your work is critical to the success of the company You are an expert in your craft, and have: Solid understanding of React JS, including Hooks and Context 3+ years working with JavaScript and TypeScript 5+ years of relevant experience Empathy, open-mindedness, and constructive feedback: Respect diverse working styles, encourage data-informed decisions, and build understanding and trust through direct conflict resolution Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement
