The Role

As our Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of the software we develop. You’ll work closely with our Technology team throughout the development lifecycle, defining testing strategies, identifying risks early, and helping us continuously improve our development and QA practices.

You’ll also help drive our test automation strategy and the adoption of AI-driven tools and practices in QA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement testing plans across our software development lifecycle.
• Review requirements and technical specifications to identify testing needs and potential risks.
• Perform and oversee manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, producers, PMs, designers, and Technical Directors.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and release validation.
• Define and promote QA best practices, quality standards, and testing processes.
• Coordinate internal and external QA resources when needed.
• Identify recurring defects and opportunities to improve development and testing processes.
• Explore and implement testing tools, automation opportunities, quality metrics, and AI-driven QA practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.
• Strong experience with manual and automated software testing.
• Experience designing, implementing, and documenting test plans.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar.
• Understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL, and experience validating APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Ability to proactively identify technical and quality risks.
• Interest in using AI to improve testing and QA processes.
• Experience coordinating or mentoring QA/QE professionals.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable work experience.
