CSSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full UI/UX Stack Software Engineer to support the design, development, modernization, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical applications supporting transportation and operational safety programs. The successful candidate will leverage modern web technologies, cloud-native architectures, and software engineering best practices to develop scalable solutions that enhance operational performance and decision-making. The role requires strong experience across front-end development, cloud platforms, application integration, and Agile software development. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience developing modern web applications. Experience working throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience supporting production systems and enterprise applications. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency) and Public Trust approval Required Technical Skills: Front End Development Experience developing web applications using React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, FIGMA and CSS3. Experience building responsive user interfaces and reusable components. Experience integrating visualization and reporting tools into web applications. Cloud and DevOps Experience designing and deploying applications within AWS environments. Experience with AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, S3, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions. Experience automating software deployments and system operations. Software Engineering Object-oriented design and development. Data structures and design patterns. Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Code reviews and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Application performance optimization and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Developer Associate certification. AWS Solutions Architect certification. AWS DevOps certification. Experience with enterprise modernization initiatives. Experience supporting transportation, aviation, federal government, or safety-related systems. Experience with Tableau integration and data visualization platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software solutions supporting mission and operational objectives. Develop and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services. Build and enhance APIs, and web-based user interfaces. Collaborate with program managers, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives. Implement software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support for deployed systems. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and development reviews.
