Req ID#: 415533 Job Description: Job Title: Senior IT Platform Governance Engineer Location: India (Remote) Shift: GMT+8 Aligned (6:30 AM – 3:30 AM IST) Role Summary The Senior Platform Governance Engineer will support operational governance, infrastructure standards, and enterprise platform reliability across Foundever’s global server environments. This role focuses on ensuring operational compliance, patch governance, privileged access oversight, infrastructure standards enforcement, and operational health monitoring across enterprise platforms. This is not a traditional infrastructure architecture or server build role. This is an Infrastructure governance engineer who will work closely with GCC, infrastructure, and platform teams to identify operational gaps, guide remediation efforts, and help drive consistency across global environments. The Senior Engineer will additionally mentor team members, support operational decision-making, and guide platform governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead operational governance and infrastructure standards validation activities across enterprise environments Review and monitor Windows patching compliance across global infrastructure platforms Oversee privileged access governance activities including domain admin reviews and stale account remediation tracking Work closely with GCC and infrastructure teams to address operational risks and compliance gaps Support operational assurance across Microsoft Windows Server and VMware environments Drive platform health reviews, operational reporting, and governance tracking activities Guide remediation planning and operational improvement initiatives Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team Support root cause analysis and operational review discussions for recurring infrastructure issues Maintain governance documentation, standards records, and operational reporting Collaborate with global technical teams and stakeholders to improve infrastructure operational maturity Required Skills & Experience 6–9+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Platform Governance, or Enterprise IT environments Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure operations Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, identity/access governance, and operational standards Strong experience with Windows Server patching governance and enterprise operational compliance Strong VMware vSphere exposure including ESXi and vCenter administration environments Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure operations and governance processes Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and operational decision-making skills Ability to work independently in global environments Experience mentoring engineers or guiding operational initiatives Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Good to Have Linux server exposure (Red Hat/Ubuntu) PowerShell scripting exposure Exposure to monitoring/compliance tools Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS ITIL, Microsoft, or VMware certifications Why Join Foundever Opportunity to work in a global enterprise infrastructure environment Exposure to diverse technologies and operational platforms High-impact role influencing enterprise operational standards Collaboration with global technical teams and leadership Opportunity to mentor and guide platform operations initiatives Broad infrastructure exposure across multiple technologies and environment Job Segment: System Administrator, Open Source, Systems Engineer, Linux, Engineer, Technology, Engineering
