Apply Description The Senior Manager, Patient Advocacy-DMD supports the execution of enterprise and brand-level patient advocacy strategies across a rare disease portfolio. Reporting to the Executive Director of Patient Advocacy, this role collaborates cross-functionally to implement programs and initiatives that address the needs of patients, caregivers, and advocacy organizations. The Senior Manager-DMD plays a key role in managing day-to-day operations of advocacy initiatives, including program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and measurement of impact. This individual ensures alignment with both brand-specific and above-brand priorities, supporting enterprise-level initiatives and helping to advance the organization’s patient-centered mission. Requirements Responsibilities included but not limited to: Serve as key operational and project management support to the patient advocacy team, ensuring smooth coordination across priorities and functions Collaborate with Director of Patient Advocacy and cross functional partners to implement programs, initiatives, and resources that address patient and caregiver needs Manage patient advocacy partnerships, including relationship development, sponsorship and grant oversight, and benefit fulfillment for partner organizations Service as point of contact for patient organizations and advocacy leaders, maintaining trust-based relationships through consistent, high-quality engagement Collect, analyze, and report on program metrics to measure impact Collaborate on the development and delivery of compliant patient-facing educational materials Lead the identification of patient advocacy events and identifying opportunities. Manage calendar of events and liaise with internal team members to secure appropriate cross-functional attendance Partner with the Director of Patient Advocacy to support budgets and vendor management Coordinate with the Director of Patient Advocacy to develop team meeting agendas, document action items, and ensure follow through on outcomes Manage inventory and budget of advocacy materials Participate in external vendor and partner calls as appropriate Represent the company at key patient advocacy events and meetings and create follow-up reporting Education/Experience/Skills Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in patient advocacy, corporate affairs, or a related function and or biotech/pharma sectors Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with patient advocacy organizations and community stakeholders Collaborative team member who is eager to work closely with colleagues Strong commitment to advocating for the needs of patient communities Excel in project management, prioritize tasks, organize and manage multiple projects requirements governing patient engagement in a regulated industry Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%, including evenings, weekends, and multi-day trips to represent the company at key advocacy events Catalyst is committed to providing competitive wages and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, a retirement savings plan with Company Match, and more.
