About the Role: We’re looking for a Sr Manager, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement on the Programming team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Senior Director, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement, you’ll proactively identify, implement, manage, and optimize data analytics solutions that fit the strategic vision of Programming by using relevant technologies and tools. Together with the Programming leadership team, the Sr Manager, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement works with internal partners, as well as cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and propose technical solutions. What You'll Do: In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build R-based tools for accelerating clinical analytics delivery. You’ll also: Enable analysis and reporting of clinical trial and related data through automated processes/tools/solutions that boost efficiency, increase throughput and preserve quality and compliance, in support of the Biometrics infrastructure and analytics platform strategy Proactively identifies gaps and then develops and implements technical solutions such as Packages/Utilities/Macros that accelerate statistical programming of clinical trial data Play a significant role in identifying and onboarding technologies/tools/platforms that support current and future data analytics/visualization needs, contributing to the evaluation and piloting of new solutions. Actively engage with stakeholders to understand the business needs and propose technical solutions that leverage existing capabilities, supporting automation and standardization. Lead technical implementation of projects/initiatives, including creation of proof-of-concepts and high-level designs of solutions architecture Lead initiatives and utilize resources to meet corporate objectives with minimal supervision, supporting task prioritization and resource management within the team. Serve as the custodian of clinical trial data and other stakeholder data to ensure efficient storage/archival/retrieval/reporting, while supporting data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. Lead change management during the maintenance and upgrades of systems/tools/processes, ensuring adherence to computer system validation (CSV) requirements and quality standards. Mentor and motivate staff to maximize adoption of technical solutions and stakeholder satisfaction, while staying current on emerging data analytics techniques and pursuing professional development to strengthen technical, scientific, and operational capabilities in line with policies and regulatory standards. Who You Are: You have a Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field along with 8+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree (MS) in a related discipline with 6+ years of experience in statistical programming and analytics within pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical development. You are or you also have: Strong proficiency in R required, with familiarity with the pharmaverse and tidyverse ecosystems for clinical data analysis and reporting Working knowledge of CDISC standards and clinical trial data structures, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain reusable programming utilities, macros, and packages Experience with SAS, Python, and R package development Experience with modern software engineering practices (version control, CI/CD pipelines) and familiarity with cloud platforms Working knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) principles and GxP compliance requirements for biometrics platforms and analytical tools Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously and escalating risks to management and stakeholders as needed Strong collaborative, proactive problem-solver with sound decision-making, effective both independently and in cross-functional team environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail, clarity, and accuracy Forward-looking thinker who identifies opportunities and contributes ideas for process and technical improvement Where You’ll Work This is a fully remote role. It can be performed effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or events will be expected.
