Senior Marketing Project Manager Job description The Senior Marketing Project Manager plans, executes, and delivers multiple marketing initiatives according to established priorities, timelines, and business objectives. This role drives project execution through proactive coordination, stakeholder management, project governance, and clear communication. As a key operational liaison between India-based delivery teams and stakeholders across North America, this role ensures alignment, visibility, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will coordinate work across SEO, Digital Marketing, Creative, Web, and Content teams while supporting process improvements, documentation standards, and AI-enabled workflow initiatives. Success in this role requires strong organization, ownership, adaptability, and the ability to independently drive projects forward in a fast-paced global marketing environment. Duties & Responsibilities Lead multiple cross-functional marketing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, deliverables, ownership, and success criteria are clearly defined. Develop and maintain project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, owners, and due dates. Coordinate work across SEO, Digital Marketing, Creative, Web, Content, and partner teams to ensure projects remain on track. Serve as the primary operational liaison between global teams, facilitating collaboration across regions and time zones. Proactively manage project risks, blockers, scope changes, and competing priorities while driving timely resolution. Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, decision logs, and project status updates. Maintain accurate project information within enterprise project management platforms. Provide regular project reporting and communicate progress, priorities, risks, and next steps to stakeholders and leadership. Support the development and continuous improvement of project management processes, documentation, and best practices. Support the implementation, testing, and adoption of AI-powered workflow automation and productivity tools. Build collaborative relationships across teams and influence project outcomes without direct authority. Contribute to consistent execution by following established project management methodologies and documentation standards. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent project planning, organization, and scheduling skills. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Strong meeting facilitation, documentation, and action-item management skills. Ability to proactively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues appropriately. Ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal supervision. Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and multiple time zones. Experience with enterprise project management platforms (Wrike, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar). Strong process documentation skills and willingness to adopt new technologies and AI-enabled workflows. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of project management experience supporting marketing, digital marketing, SEO, web, creative, or related business functions. Experience managing multiple concurrent cross-functional projects. Experience collaborating with geographically distributed global teams. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Preferred Experience supporting SaaS, technology, or B2B marketing organizations. Experience with workflow automation, AI-enabled productivity tools, or process improvement initiatives.
