Reports to: Sr Director, Product Management Department: Product FLSA Category: Exempt Position Type: Full-Time, Senior level Travel Requirement: 0-10%, Quarterly for meetings Office Location: Remote, US Based JOB SUMMARY The Sr Product Manager - Publisher Integrations & Validation will own the end-to-end strategy, delivery, certification, and ongoing health of Clarvos integrations with advertising publishers, demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms, ad exchanges, retail media networks, social platforms, search platforms, connected TV providers, mobile and in-app networks, and other media partners. This role is the single-threaded product owner responsible for taking each integration from technical discovery and commercial readiness through launch, validation, adoption, monitoring, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on technical product role for an experienced AdTech operator who can read and interpret API specifications, understand authentication and data models, evaluate platform constraints, and translate external technical documentation into clear product requirements, data contracts, workflows, test plans, and launch criteria. The ideal candidate has built or managed publisher and media-platform integrations at a DSP, SSP, ad server, agency technology platform, or directly alongside a DSP and understands how the programmatic ecosystem works across campaign creation, targeting, creative, bidding, trafficking, reporting, measurement, billing, and reconciliation. The role will work directly with external publisher and technology partners and internally across Product, Engineering, Application Management, Campaign Operations, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams. Success requires technical depth, operational rigor, strong business judgment, and the ability to independently identify gaps, resolve ambiguity, and drive integrations to production-quality outcomes across publishers of different sizes, technical maturity, inventory types, and operating models. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Own the publisher integration portfolio and roadmap, including integration sequencing, opportunity sizing, technical feasibility, resource requirements, dependencies, launch timing, and expected customer and business impact. Lead each integration end to end from partner discovery, API and documentation review, architecture alignment, requirements definition, development, sandbox testing, certification, production launch, monitoring, and post-launch optimization. Serve as the primary product and technical point of contact for publishers, DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, retail media networks, social platforms, search platforms, connected TV providers, mobile networks, and measurement partners. Read, interpret, and challenge REST, GraphQL, streaming, webhook, and batch API specifications; understand endpoints, methods, schemas, objects, field definitions, authentication, permissions, pagination, idempotency, rate limits, versioning, error handling, and deprecation policies. Translate external API specifications and partner requirements into detailed product requirements, technical specifications, data mappings, sequence diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, operational workflows, and release plans. Partner deeply with Engineering and Architecture to make informed decisions about integration patterns, reusable services, adapters, orchestration, data contracts, queues, retries, caching, observability, and failure recovery. Define and maintain canonical models that normalize differences across publisher APIs for campaigns, ad groups, audiences, creatives, budgets, bids, placements, targeting, pacing, optimization goals, pixels, conversions, reporting, and account structures. Build scalable integration capabilities that support publishers ranging from large global platforms with mature APIs to smaller or specialized partners requiring custom workflows, file-based exchanges, manual certification, or limited technical support. Understand and account for publisher-specific differences in buying models, auction mechanics, inventory, creative policies, targeting, attribution windows, optimization, reporting latency, billing, reconciliation, and campaign lifecycle management. Own publisher onboarding, technical due diligence, integration readiness assessments, capability-gap analysis, risk evaluation, and go/no-go recommendations. Define comprehensive test strategies covering sandbox and production validation, positive and negative cases, API contract testing, payload verification, permissions, rate limits, creative rendering, campaign state changes, reporting accuracy, and error recovery. Personally validate API behavior using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, API clients, logs, query tools, and publisher consoles; verify that delivered functionality is fit for purpose before launch. Establish certification and launch criteria for each publisher integration, including functional completeness, data accuracy, security and privacy compliance, operational readiness, customer experience, support procedures, and rollback plans. Identify integration defects, data mismatches, API regressions, publisher-side changes, authentication failures, reporting discrepancies, and campaign-impacting incidents; lead root-cause analysis, prioritization, remediation, and partner escalation. Create monitoring and integration-health requirements for uptime, latency, error rates, throttling, sync completion, data freshness, campaign creation success, publishing success, reporting completeness, and partner API changes. Own API version management, migration planning, partner deprecations, breaking-change assessments, release-note review, and proactive remediation before customer or campaign impact occurs. Partner with Campaign Operations and customer-facing teams to ensure integrations support real advertiser workflows and to convert recurring operational friction into scalable platform capabilities. Work with Security, Privacy, and Legal to ensure integrations meet requirements for OAuth, credentials, access controls, consent, data minimization, retention, auditability, platform policies, and applicable advertising and privacy standards. Partner with Finance and Operations on spend reconciliation, billing data, fees, credits, currency handling, invoice support, and discrepancies between platform delivery and publisher reporting. Define and communicate strategy, roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, technical constraints, partner risks, launch status, incidents, and outcomes to executive and cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain current knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, publisher APIs, DSP and SSP capabilities, industry standards, privacy changes, and emerging inventory types including CTV, audio, retail media, mobile, native, display, video, search, and social. SUCCESS MEASURES On-time delivery and production launch of prioritized publisher integrations against roadmap commitments. Reduction in average time required to assess, build, certify, and launch a new publisher or media-platform integration. Growth in addressable media inventory, channel coverage, campaign volume, and customer adoption enabled by new integrations. Improvement in campaign creation, publishing, synchronization, and reporting success rates across integrated platforms. Reduction in integration-related defects, failed API calls, publisher escalations, manual workarounds, and customer-impacting incidents. Accuracy and completeness of campaign, delivery, conversion, spend, billing, and performance data exchanged with partners. Percentage of publisher capabilities supported through reusable platform services rather than one-off custom implementations. Proactive completion of API migrations and deprecation work before production impact. Improvement in integration observability, incident detection, root-cause resolution time, and operational readiness. Delivery of measurable customer and business outcomes from expanded publisher coverage and reliable campaign execution. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS 5 or more years of Product Management experience building highly technical products, integrations, APIs, platforms, or data services, preferably in AdTech, MarTech, programmatic media, or enterprise SaaS. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated experience owning multiple third-party integrations from technical discovery through production launch, certification, support, and ongoing lifecycle management. Direct experience working at a DSP, SSP, ad exchange, ad server, publisher technology company, retail media network, or in a role that partnered extensively with a DSP on campaign execution and platform integrations. Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including advertisers, agencies, publishers, DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, ad servers, identity providers, measurement vendors, data platforms, and clean rooms. Hands-on ability to read and interpret API documentation and technical specifications and translate them into actionable product and engineering requirements. Working knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API keys, service accounts, permissions, rate limits, pagination, versioning, error codes, asynchronous workflows, and data synchronization patterns. Experience defining data models, field mappings, API contracts, integration workflows, technical acceptance criteria, edge cases, and test plans. Experience with campaign-management and activation workflows, including account authorization, campaign and ad-group creation, budgets, bids, pacing, targeting, audiences, creatives, pixels, conversions, reporting, optimization, and lifecycle state management. Understanding of programmatic buying and supply concepts such as real-time bidding, OpenRTB, auctions, bid requests, inventory quality, deals, private marketplaces, supply paths, frequency, viewability, brand safety, and publisher yield. Ability to discuss system architecture and integration tradeoffs with engineers, including distributed systems, event-driven processing, queues, retries, data pipelines, observability, scalability, resilience, and failure handling. Experience validating integrations through API tools, publisher consoles, logs, payload review, data queries, and end-to-end testing. Proven ability to identify technical and operational risks, investigate ambiguous issues, lead root-cause analysis, and drive resolution across internal and external teams. Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce precise product requirements, technical specifications, decision documents, launch plans, operating procedures, and executive updates. Experience working in Agile development environments and managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams, external partners, and release schedules. Strong customer and business judgment, including the ability to prioritize integrations based on market demand, inventory value, revenue opportunity, customer impact, complexity, risk, and ongoing maintenance cost. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, create structure in ambiguity, manage multiple concurrent integrations, and maintain accountability from concept through stable production operation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience integrating with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, LiveRamp, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, AppLovin, or comparable advertising platforms. Experience with publisher and programmatic standards such as OpenRTB, VAST, VMAP, Open Measurement, ads.txt, app-ads.txt, sellers.json, SupplyChain Object, and consent frameworks. Experience integrating display, video, CTV, audio, native, mobile, search, social, commerce, retail media, and performance advertising inventory. Experience with Postman, Swagger or OpenAPI, Charles Proxy, browser developer tools, log platforms, SQL, BI tools, or other technical validation and troubleshooting environments. Working familiarity with cloud architectures, microservices, event streams, data warehouses, ETL or ELT pipelines, and large-scale reporting systems. Experience with identity resolution, audience onboarding, conversion APIs, pixels, attribution, incrementality, privacy-safe measurement, and server-to-server integrations. Experience negotiating technical scope, certification requirements, service levels, support models, and launch dependencies with external partners. Experience building reusable integration frameworks, partner portals, connector platforms, or API-first products that reduce the cost and time of subsequent integrations. Knowledge of privacy-forward advertising, consent, data governance, platform policy compliance, data retention, and evolving regulatory requirements. Experience in a high-growth or startup environment where personal initiative, speed, technical curiosity, and hands-on execution are critical to success. LEADERSHIP PROFILE A hands-on product builder who is comfortable opening API documentation, testing endpoints, reviewing payloads, and investigating logs rather than relying solely on summaries from others. Technically credible with engineers and external platform teams, while able to translate complex integration constraints into clear business and customer implications. Deeply knowledgeable about AdTech and programmatic media, with practical judgment about how publisher, DSP, SSP, and advertiser systems work together. Highly accountable and self-directed, with the discipline to manage details, dependencies, validation, and follow-through across many concurrent partner integrations. Analytical and evidence-driven, with a strong bias toward identifying root causes and building scalable solutions instead of accepting recurring manual workarounds. Collaborative and direct, capable of building trust with publishers, technical partners, operators, commercial teams, and executive stakeholders. Comfortable challenging incomplete specifications, unrealistic timelines, weak launch criteria, and solutions that do not meet production-quality standards. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings remotely and in person. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time. Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
