This role is part of our Graphic Communications business unit, which serves the global print and packaging industry with ERP and production software designed for commercial printers, packaging manufacturers, promotional and transactional print providers, sign and display manufacturers, and in-plant print operations. Our solutions help customers manage complex production environments, improve operational visibility, and deliver high-quality products efficiently and profitably. About the Role The Sr. Professional Services Consultant configures the product to match each customer’s business processes and help teams adopt it with confidence. They turn the approved solution design into a working system, guide customer super users, and prepare everyone for a smooth validation and go live. In short, they execute the plan and coach the customer through it. What You’ll Do Solution Delivery Configure the system according to the approved design and configuration specifications. You translate requirements into working setups for workflows, data, and roles. Prepare environments for validation and production following the implementation approach and guardrails set by architecture. Customer Enablement Deliver or coordinate training for the customer core team, focusing on practical scenarios they will actually run. Mentor super users so they can demonstrate proficiency to the project sponsor during milestones and UAT. Testing and Validation Help define and execute test cases tied to requirements and acceptance criteria. Support defect triage and retest until acceptance is met. Validate data and configurations against expected outcomes in prototypes and pre‑production builds. Go Live and Post Go Live Support cutover tasks, runbooks, and day one activities, then stabilize the solution with the customer team. What We’re Looking For Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Printing, or equivalent discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree 3+ years delivering software implementations into a customer environment or performing IT Services, hands‑on experience configuring enterprise or vertical software ERP solutions and guiding customers through change Printing industry experience/knowledge is preferred Possess excellent organization, communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills Comfortable reading design documents and turning them into precise configuration steps and test cases Strong communicator and trainer with an eye for detail and follow through Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning / Management Information Systems, computer operating systems and relational databases Can manage multiple priorities and multi-task Have a working knowledge of Client/Server architecture Ability to travel up to 60% A Strong knowledge of the following within the Print industry would be considered an asset: Estimating Planning Scheduling Production Knowledge and experience with the following EPS software would be considered an asset: iQuote iPlan PrintFlow Monarch Foundation Why Join CAI At CAI, we are building something that matters.
