The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering, execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and successful delivery of airport systems projects involving Airfield Ground Lighting Control & Monitoring Systems (AGLCMS), Airfield Lighting Facilities (AFL), Constant Current Regulators (CCR), Emergency Response Systems (ERS), Airfield Electrical Infrastructure, and related airport systems. The role serves as the technical lead during project execution, coordinating engineering design, procurement support, site installation, system integration, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, and handover. The Senior Project Engineer works closely with clients, airport authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, and airport authority standards. Key Responsibilities Engineering & Technical Leadership Lead the detailed engineering design, review, and implementation of airport and airfield-related systems. Prepare and review: System architecture drawings Shop drawings Single-line diagrams Cable schedules Interface documents Method statements Testing and commissioning procedures Ensure compliance with: ICAO Annex 14 FAA Advisory Circulars EASA Standards Airport Authority Specifications Client Technical Requirements Provide technical support throughout project lifecycle from concept to handover. Project Execution Support the Project Manager in planning and executing airport projects. Monitor project schedules and engineering deliverables. Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Track project progress and proactively identify execution risks. Prepare weekly and monthly project reports. Participate in project review meetings and stakeholder discussions. Airport Systems Responsibilities Lead engineering and implementation activities for: Airfield Ground Lighting Systems (AGL) Runway Lighting Taxiway Lighting Stop Bars Approach Lighting Systems Airfield Guidance Signs PAPI Systems Apron Lighting Interfaces Site Installation Management Supervise subcontractors and installation teams. Verify installations comply with approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate site activities with airport operations personnel. Conduct site inspections and quality checks. Ensure work is performed safely within operational airside environments. Manage site issues, technical queries, and design clarifications. Must Have Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Airport Engineering or related discipline. 5–10 years of engineering and project execution experience. Minimum 3 years of airport or airfield systems experience. Hands-on experience in: AGLCMS AFL Systems CCR Systems Airfield Power and Lighting Infrastructure Testing & Commissioning Airport Construction Projects We Value: Experience working in operational airports.
