The team is establishing enterprise project management and establishing planning & prioritization processes. Leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives with full ownership from intake through delivery—connecting workstreams across technical and functional teams to ensure aligned, outcomes-driven execution. Operates with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and interdependencies across projects. Functions as a peer leader who influences without authority, aligning stakeholders across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams to deliver cohesive business outcomes—not just individual project milestones. Duties & Responsibilities Essential Functions Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives, ensuring alignment from intake through execution and delivery outcomes Integrate and connect cross-functional workstreams (technical and functional), proactively identifying dependencies, gaps, and blind spots across projects Translate business strategy into executable project plans, ensuring alignment across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, sequencing, ownership, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution utilizing the Basys PMO Framework Drive accountability across teams and vendors, ensuring commitments are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality expectations Identify risks, issues, and execution gaps early, leading mitigation planning and driving resolution with appropriate escalation when needed Influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, aligning teams around shared objectives, challenging assumptions, clarifying ambiguity, and ensuring ownership gaps are addressed Establish clear and proactive communication frameworks, providing actionable updates, risks, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership Additional Responsibilities Leverage project and product tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk, workflow tools) to manage execution visibility and coordination at scale Utilize Microsoft tools (including AI capabilities) to enhance planning, reporting, and day-to-day operational efficiency Facilitate risk reviews, status reviews, and cross-functional working sessions to maintain alignment and execution momentum Contribute to resource planning and prioritization discussions, identifying capacity constraints and sequencing opportunities across initiatives Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting artifacts, and process improvements to support consistency and scalability Continuously improve delivery processes and operating models, identifying opportunities to streamline execution and reduce inefficiencies Requirements This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to 2 days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy. Education & Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs Demonstrated ability to manage multi-workstream enterprise initiatives Strong understanding of both technical delivery and business operations Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority Experience with project/product tools (JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk or similar) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency preferred Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments preferred PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification preferred Basys provides technology and payment integration solutions for businesses across the country and Canada.
