What you’ll be challenged to do: The Senior Project Manager develops, initiates, plans, executes, controls and closes-out projects and scopes of service involving moderate risk and complexity that are generally multi-practice. May involve coordinating and managing multiple orgs to deliver the scopes of service for projects of regional significance. The Sr PM will also market and develop business in accordance with the goals of the business plan for the assigned org and/or business unit. In the capacity, you will be responsible for the following: Project Development Lead the project pursuit decision (go/no-go) Lead development and preparation of proposals including coordinating with other team members for practice specific input. Negotiate contract scopes and fees Lead in presentation of proposals to clients and other stakeholders Supervise and/or prepare contracts and related documents for clients, subconsultants,subcontractors, and vendors which conform with in-house counsel requirements Recommend execution of contracts and related documents for clients, subconsultants,subcontractors and vendors Project Initiation and Planning Manage the project set-up process; including preparing PA’s and WBS’s for input into BST. This includes billing particulars and invoice requirements Coordinate and supervise the preparation of file protocols and document control procedures Prepare PEP’s with input from other team members Approve PA’s, BST budget set ups, and PEP’s Execution Lead project kick-off meetings Develop, coordinate and efficiently manage the resources to complete the scopes of service which may include multiple practices and orgs Coordinate and manage the efforts of subconsultants, subcontractors and vendors Prepare project status reports with input from others Maintain communication with internal/external stakeholders, focusing on clients’ executive managers and project managers in accordance with the PEP’s Supervise adjustments and modifications to WBS’s Lead, coordinate and manage the QA process in accordance with the GF Quality Management System Control Control project costs through preparing and maintaining cost management reports, Earned Value Analysis (EVA) or other techniques, by reviewing project inquires and reports available from BST Lead in preparing and maintaining project schedules. Identify and control changes in scopes in accordance with the PEP’s Determine % of scope complete estimates using EVA or other techniques and input into BST. This may require coordination with others. Lead, coordinate and manage the QC process in accordance with the GF Quality Management System · Identify and control risks in accordance with the PEP’s Manage timely billings, A/R collection and A/P payments Approve client invoices for billing Approve sub-contractor invoices for payment Approve budget transfers in BST Project Closeout Coordinate, manage project closeout activities Additional responsibilities may include marketing and business development for the assigned org or business unit through meetings with and presentations to potential clients. What you will bring to our firm: Education and Licensing requirements Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related technical field preferred PMI, PMP or approved equivalent Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or experience 15+ years of industry experience Must have strong oral and written communication skills Must be able to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively Compensation: The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
