Apply Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a Salesforce Project Manager to be an integral member of the team who will define, implement and oversee project management processes in accordance with client engagement execution environment. Candidates with strong consulting experience with Public Sector, Commercial and Non-profit agencies are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can perform well independently, interact with clients professionally, and collaborate with diverse internal and external teams. The candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and driving team performance as well as being the primary interface with the customer. The candidate must demonstrate leadership in an Agile software development environment. We are looking to hire someone who has strong leadership, communication, analytical, time, and customer management skills. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact with the customer’s Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and/or Primary Point of Contact (POC) with authority to act in all project matters. Ensure compliance with contract terms, deliverable schedules, and acquisition requirements, including status reporting, invoicing, and documentation standards. Provide and maintain all project documentation (plans, reports, architecture, workflows, SOPs, and training materials) in the required formats and catalog them into designated repositories. Coordinate and oversee all phases of testing (Developer Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Security Testing), ensuring readiness for formal governance approval to proceed, and be directly accountable for managing schedules, stakeholder participation, issue resolution, and compliance with project testing standards. Provides oversight and accountability for data migration planning, ensuring risks, dependencies, and data quality requirements are identified, managed, and integrated into the project plan. Leads structured risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and monitoring. Maintains risk registers, facilitates regular risk reviews, and ensures timely escalation and mitigation to protect project scope, schedule, and financial outcomes Accountable for project budget planning and ongoing financial management, including forecasting, tracking actuals, and analyzing variances. Proactively identifies financial risks and trends, communicates impacts to leadership, and drives corrective actions to maintain fiscal control and contractual compliance. Own and drive strategic client engagements leveraging structured program governance processes and measurable program performance indicators. Manage multiple projects and oversee multiple streams of work/projects. Understand existing technical and political landscapes and drive discussions to create win-win outcomes across stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams for solution design and implementation of new capabilities. Manage remote delivery teams, including offshore resources. Mentor and coach delivery teams to promote best-practice implementation through collaborative discussions. Effectively operate with multiple stakeholders and constituencies across technical, business, and executive domains. Serve as a Salesforce champion for projects within the client environment for assigned accounts. Participate in Salesforce practice development by championing engagement processes, solution designs, and emerging practice areas. Engage client key stakeholders and enable a collaborative communication model to support proactive risk mitigation and value articulation. Effectively engage and communicate with senior executives within client organizations and internal executive leadership. Create and present professional business presentations to support ongoing client engagements and internal practice needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 7+ years of experience at Enterprise-level Project/Program Management and Governance Minimum 5+ years of managing end-to-end Salesforce implementations Experience leading Project Delivery using Agile Scrum methodology Required Certifications: Project Manager Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Ability to excel in a challenging environment and adept in dealing with counterparts with strong personalities. Highly skilled in driving and managing business discussions including Planning, JAD, Scope Management, Process, and Change Management discussions Cross-functional ability to assist in business analysis, design, and testing Project Management experience using Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative processes Budgeting, Estimation and Projection Management for the assigned business/accounts. Effective resource allocation and billability management Familiarity with Industry best practices in software and solutions development Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to convert concepts into professional documents including but not limited to professional presentations. Ability to collaborate with customers involving multiple and, sometimes conflicting, objectives bringing the ability to negotiate and compromise on important business and functional decisions. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with Health and Human Services project management is highly desired Experience with JIRA is preferred Highly Preferred: Salesforce Certified System Administrator Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant and/or Salesforce Community Consultant Other Salesforce consultant certifications (Sales, Marketing) Experience managing remote teams and client strongly preferred. Experience working with state and local government or social services agencies is a big plus Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust background investigation.
