YOUR ROLE Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and backend services using Java and RestAssured. Create and execute automated API test cases to ensure quality, reliability, and coverage. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support release validation processes. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies, quality standards, and acceptance criteria. Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices. YOUR PROFILE 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. Strong experience with Java and RestAssured for API automation testing. Hands-on experience with TestNG or JUnit, Maven or Gradle, and Git. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and XML. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API documentation tools. Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
