Responsibilities
Collaborates with the VP, Technology to envision, create and review data architectural design as needed.
Serves as the primary liaison to business stakeholders, including executive leadership, to translate business requirements into repeatable analytical models and solutions ensuring reusable datasets rather than one-off reports.
Personally delivers code to enable process automation and predictive analytics.
Assists in ensuring high data quality is available for business users to access and derive insights.
Troubleshoots and maintains code ongoing.
Establishes and follows automated testing best practices established within the software development team.
Performs code reviews of team submissions as needed.
Qualifications
Business-driven software engineer with 5+ years of software development experience and experience with data architecture design, structure, and models.
In-depth C#, SQL, and Python experience, including application architecture and ownership.
Experience utilizing AI to accelerate development, validation of AI-generated solutions, and understanding of how data must be structured for AI consumption. Experience with agentic workflows is highly preferred.
Experience building solutions targeting Microsoft Azure.
Experience working in a fast-paced development environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
This position will be based in Dallas, TX, with some remote work possible.
Travel estimated to be little to none.
