Job Summary Responsibilities : Service Level Management Deliver Tier 3 technical support with emphasis on complex specialty workflows, integrations, and advanced configurations. Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues beyond the scope of general analyst support. Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours, weekend, and on-site support for go-lives, downtime events, upgrades, and drills specific to specialty systems. Optimization, Governance & KPI Oversight Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and provide technical leadership within specialty domains. Participate in governance forums, project teams, and strategy discussions, providing expert guidance on specialty systems. Lead KPI-driven optimization initiatives, Gold Stars programs, and integration validation efforts to improve clinical and operational outcomes. Business Continuity, Vulnerability, & Feasibility Management Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, and applicable regulatory and audit requirements. Build, maintain, and refine Business Continuity Access (BCA) and downtime procedures for specialty platforms. Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in specialty systems. Serve as a liaison with operations during outages affecting specialty systems. System Maintenance & Design Standardization Lead and execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing for specialty modules. Prepare and validate testing scripts; document outcomes; coordinate go-live activities. Audit and validate specialty system builds and upgrades, ensuring compliance with integration standards and Change Control governance. Technology & Application Expertise Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for Epic specialty modules and integrated ancillary systems (e.g., Beaker, Radiant, Cupid, LIS, PACS, imaging platforms). Lead the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of specialty workflows, order sets, clinical content, and advanced system features. Evaluate upstream and downstream impacts across Epic and ancillary platforms using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and integrated architectures. Act as the primary liaison with Epic and third-party vendors, coordinating issue escalation, solution validation, and delivery. Qualifications : Experience in enterprise applications and IT infrastructure 3+ years of related job experience.
