Sr. Test Engineer

Job Description This is a remote position. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Tester with a solid background in Quality Assurance (QA) testing, particularly within Scrum and Agile environments. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in all aspects of test case creation, testing, and defectmanagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Experience with Automated Change Management is important, and familiarity with test automation tools and methods that facilitate Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus. We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, who can work independently, and who is adaptable to new technologies and testing approaches. WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a Senior QA Tester, you will be responsible for performing integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure they meet both business and technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Scrum Teams in agile settings, contributing to the analysis of functional and technical requirements and creating and editing test cases for new or modified systems. Your role will also involve adhering to Software Engineering disciplines and change control standards, as well as conducting code reviews with peers to ensure quality standards are met. You will support multiple pod teams, potentially managing complex assignments, and provide valuable feedback to improve testing processes and identify areas for automation. Your ability to work independently, coupled with strong communication and collaboration skills, will be critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of applications. QUALIFICATIONS: 5 plus years of Scrum and Agile experience Must be extremely experienced in all aspects of test case creation, testing, and defect management Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills Advanced analytical/quantitative, reconciliation, deductive reasoning, and problem solving skills Experience with Automated Change Management Accuracy and attention to detail Desired: 3+ years of experience with test Automation and tools and methods that facilitate Test Driven Development RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and our client's practices and policies Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements, business practices and policies.
