As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will have a significant impact on the company's global operations and success. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is crucial for the smooth flow of cross-border transactions. By developing and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures, you will contribute to minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations. In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods across borders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters, including training and awareness programs Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization, ensuring compliance with new requirements Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or related field Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and effectively communicate trade compliance requirements Ability to adapt to changing regulations and requirements, staying updated with industry trends and best practices The annual base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $108,000 in Markham, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
