Sr. UI/UX Designer

About the Job: We're looking for a Sr. UI/UX Designer to lead the design of our internal tooling and e-commerce storefront initiatives. You'll be shaping core shopping flows, optimizing our administrative interfaces, building out the design system, and iterating in a fast-moving environment. You'll work closely with engineering and product leadership to ship cohesive, high-quality experiences as our operations grow. In your first 90 days, you can expect to own specific storefront and tooling flows end-to-end, contribute meaningfully to the component library, and ship real work. Responsibilities: Own and iterate on core user flows for our e-commerce storefront and internal tools, with a bias toward shipping and improving over time. Translate product requirements into high-fidelity designs that feel polished, intuitive, and on-brand. Contribute to and help evolve the design system: components, patterns, states, documentation. Think through edge cases, error states, and interaction details without being asked. Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible and land correctly in implementation. Use AI actively to accelerate iteration, explore variations, and move faster without sacrificing quality. Conduct user research, A/B testing, and analytics reviews to inform design decisions and drive key metrics like conversion and retention. Optimize product discovery, search and filtering, and checkout flows to enhance the overall customer journey. Partner with merchandising and product teams to align design solutions with business objectives, such as average order value and conversion rate. Stay ahead of e-commerce trends and headless commerce innovations to ensure our digital experiences remain competitive and cutting-edge. Qualifications: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, primarily focused on e-commerce platforms and complex internal tooling. Strong Figma proficiency: components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping. Proven ability to produce high-quality work on tight timelines without losing attention to detail. Experience working with or building out a design system. Clear communicator who can collaborate across design and engineering without friction. Comfortable in ambiguity; you don't need a perfect brief to start making good decisions. Hands-on familiarity with integrating AI into your design workflow and a genuine willingness to push that further. Nice to Have: Direct experience designing for modern e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, custom headless storefronts) or enterprise-grade internal tools. Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Rive); we care about how things move. Front-end familiarity and experience working tightly with engineers on implementation. Why Join Comfrt?
