SRE Engineer

Lead Enterprise-Grade Infrastructure and Reliability for a Growing Multi-Product SaaS Platform



Overview

As the first dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a pivotal role in supporting a growing portfolio of AI-powered SaaS products that help organisations manage compliance, fraud, and corporate misconduct risks.

You will be responsible for designing and scaling shared infrastructure, improving platform reliability, establishing observability and operational excellence, and strengthening security across multiple products. This is not a traditional infrastructure operations role. Instead, you will help create the systems, processes, and engineering foundations that enable sustainable business growth and enterprise-grade service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Enhance system reliability, availability, performance, and security
• Build monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks
• Establish incident management and operational response processes
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity
• Contribute to backend application development where required (Go/Python)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
• Experience architecting and operating systems with strong consideration for availability, performance, reliability, and security
• Demonstrated ability to identify technical challenges and independently drive improvements
• Experience developing backend web applications
• Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to solve problems, learn independently, and improve development efficiency
• Language: Conversational+ Japanese AND Business level+ English or Chinese
