SRE Engineer (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

We’re currently looking for: Responsible for ensuring RingCentral's products and services are highly available, reliable, secure and scalable by managing and maintaining production environments on a massive scale in multi-tenant environments. To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements: Maintaining 24x7 production environment with a high level of service availability, ensuring services are designed with 24x7 availability and operational readiness to support expected goals of RingCentral products and services Partnering with development teams in defining and implementing improvements for production software deployments Implementing automation and orchestration for manual processes required to operate, deploy and support ongoing and smooth operation of RingCentral's cloud services Being at the heart of developing new ideas into internal OPS/SRE tools by working closely with advanced technology and high IT professionals Performing quality reviews and managing operational issues, in the process of running and delivering high quality RingCentral's products; Interfacing with Dev/QNOPS teams to identify root cause analysis and re-instrument triggers to prevent future network degradation and outages Defining non-functional requirements as part of the product lifecycle to influence the new designs, standards, and methods for scalable, highly available distributed systems Exploring and innovating new cloud and HA technologies, features, and tools to create RingCentral's world class cloud-based unified business communications service Implementing automated tests, automated deployments, and operational tools, proactive monitoring, alerting, trend analysis and self-healing systems, participating in on-call rotations, driving restoration and repairing of service-impacting issues to solve different kind of issues with respect to performance of RingCentral's products Collaborating with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy successful product releases Desired Qualifications: U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
