Staff Frontend Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll shape the frontend of a product at the leading edge of AI-powered experiences, expanding from streaming chat into rich analytics interfaces. You'll partner closely with Design to explore what generative UI can look like, then bring those ideas to life quickly and with genuine craft. This is your opportunity to set the bar for quality and accessibility on a fast-moving product, working with real autonomy and influence over how the experience evolves.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the frontend surface of a streaming chat application expanding into analytics experiences.

- Build pixel-accurate, polished UI that faithfully matches design specifications.

- Collaborate closely with Design on generative UI discovery and rapid prototyping.

- Champion accessibility and inclusive UX across all internal-facing experiences.

- Proactively surface experience issues rather than waiting for feedback cycles.

What we are looking for:

- 8+ years of experience with React and Next.js using TypeScript.

- 4+ years of backend experience with Python.

- Proven experience building, maintaining, and evolving production LLM systems, not just zero-to-one projects.

- Experience with LLM evaluation and tracing, including LangSmith, LLM-as-judge, and golden datasets.

- High attention to detail in UI, including pixel accuracy, proactive polish, and design spec fidelity.

- Experience with analytics and charting UI, including funnels, bar and time series charts, using D3, Recharts, Visx, or similar.

- Experience with design systems such as Odyssey, Material, or Carbon.

- Experience with streaming chat interfaces, including LangGraph API, WebSockets, and token streaming.

- Experience with rapid prototyping alongside design teams.

- Strong accessibility (a11y) and inclusive UX practices for web applications.

- Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

- Experience with React Native.

- Familiarity with generative UI and AI-generated experiences, including model-driven components.

- Experience with UX patterns for AI output such as prompt inputs, citations, and summaries.

- Experience with state management and caching at scale using Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query.

- BI or sales analytics domain exposure.

- Security mindset, including AuthN/AuthZ and secure frontend practices.

- Experience with CI/CD and frontend observability on AWS.
