Staff Software Engineer

Staff Software Engineer | SaaS | Remote

We are looking for 2 Staff Software Engineers to join an international team working on a SaaS product built around a modern, distributed and event-driven architecture.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond software development and have real technical impact on architecture, engineering standards and the way teams build and operate products.

What you’ll be doing

• Define and raise code and engineering standards across teams
• Lead architecture decisions with cross-team and cross-product impact
• Drive the evolution of distributed and event-driven systems
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of SRE practices
• Promote a strong culture of observability, reliability and engineering excellence
• Support teams in solving complex technical challenges
• Influence the technical direction and long-term evolution of the product

What we’re looking for:

A strong Software Engineering background, with solid experience in distributed systems, software architecture and technical leadership.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of complex technical decisions, influence multiple teams and help establish a high engineering bar across the organisation.
