Staffing Coordinator

We're currently looking to hire a Staffing Coordinator for an on-demand hospitality staffing startup.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, talking to people, solving problems, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Most of your day will be spent making high-volume outbound calls, filling open shifts, supporting workers, and ensuring daily staffing needs are met.

You'll work closely with both workers and the internal operations team to ensure shifts are filled quickly, workers receive the support they need, and clients receive excellent service. From time to time, you'll also assist with hiring and onboarding when there are high-priority hiring needs or new market launches.

Responsibilities

• Make 75+ outbound calls per day, depending on staffing demand, to contact applicants, confirm availability, and fill open shifts
• Move applicants through the staffing process, from initial outreach and screening through availability confirmation and onboarding
• Manage multiple open shifts and staffing requests in real time, prioritizing urgent staffing needs
• Follow up with applicants and workers regarding shifts, availability, reminders, and schedule changes
• Support applicants and workers by answering questions and resolving issues throughout the staffing process
• Assist with certifications, document verification, W-2 onboarding, and other required paperwork
• Track applicant, worker, and staffing activity accurately using Google Sheets and internal systems
• Work closely with the operations team to resolve last-minute staffing challenges and keep shifts covered
• Provide detailed feedback on processes, workflows, and internal tools, and suggest practical improvements
• Assist with hiring activities during high-priority hiring periods or new market launches, including applicant screening and interview coordination
• Maintain a strong worker experience while providing reliable support to hospitality clients
• Handle other operational tasks as needed to support daily staffing operations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume operations, customer support, staffing, workforce management, onboarding, or a similar role supporting US-based clients
• Comfortable making 75+ outbound calls per day and speaking with a high volume of applicants or workers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle a high volume of conversations professionally
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple applicants, workers, shifts, and changing priorities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day
• Previous recruiting or staffing experience is a plus, especially experience with high-volume applicant pipelines or shift-based staffing
• Experience supporting applicants, workers, customers, or contractors through questions, issues, or onboarding
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, CRMs, internal platforms, and other operational tools
• Able to identify problems, provide detailed and useful feedback, and suggest practical improvements
• Able to learn new systems quickly, take feedback, and adapt to changing processes
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
• Previous experience in hospitality, workforce marketplaces, or shift-based environments is a plus
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Airtable) is a plus.
• Must be available to work a graveyard shift aligned with U.S. time zones
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated work-from-home setup required

Salary and Benefits

• Base salary: 65,000 PHP per month
