Job Title State Drug Transparency & New Drug Reporting Analyst Requisition JR000015850 State Drug Transparency & New Drug Reporting Analyst (Open) Location Malvern, PA Additional Locations Bridgewater, NJ, Hazelwood, MO Job Description Summary The State Drug Transparency & New Drug Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting and executing the company’s compliance with state drug price transparency laws and regulations, including price increase reporting, new product introduction filings, and cost component disclosures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all state mandated submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with the complex and evolving regulatory landscape across multiple U.S. states. This position will support state transparency reporting activities, WAC change monitoring, and new drug reporting requirements. The Analyst will partner with Legal, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams to evaluate reporting triggers, gather required supporting documentation, and manage the end-to-end reporting process. In addition, this position provides secondary/back up support for federal government pricing programs such as Medicaid (AMP/BP), Medicare Part B (ASP), Public Health Service (340B), and VA/FSS pricing. Responsibilities include assisting with policy review, auditing calculations, and supporting submission processes as needed. Job Description Key Responsibilities : Primary: State Drug Transparency & New Drug Reporting Support end-to-end compliance with state drug price transparency reporting laws, including price increase notifications, new drug introduction reporting, and coordination across Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance teams. Prepare and participate in biweekly cross functional meetings to align stakeholders on state transparency requirements, price change activities, new drug reporting timelines, and ongoing compliance deliverables. Monitor and track all existing and emerging state transparency laws; escalate changes and assist in implementing process updates as needed. Maintain a comprehensive calendar of reporting deadlines across all states with active legislation. Prepare and submit state transparency reports with supporting documentation (pricing history, cost elements, rationale statements, supply chain costs, etc.). Work closely with Legal and Government Affairs to support interpretation efforts and help ensure reporting accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with Commercial and Market Access teams to assess the reporting impact of upcoming price changes or new product launches. Assist with maintaining and updating SOPs, procedural documentation, and internal workflows for state transparency reporting. Lead root cause analyses for discrepancies and implement corrective actions for inaccurate or incomplete filings. Support external audits, inquiries, and information requests from state agencies. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders about transparency obligations and upcoming legislative changes. Secondary / Back Up: Federal Government Pricing (AMP, BP, ASP, 340B, FSS/VA) Support the calculation, review, or audit of government pricing values (AMP, BP, ASP, 340B ceiling prices, Non FAMP, FCP) according to company policy when primary staff are unavailable or during peak periods. Assist with timely federal submissions including Medicaid, Medicare, PHS/340B, and VA/FSS when needed. Conduct variance analysis to understand pricing fluctuations and support management review. Support system testing, policy updates, and audits related to government price reporting. Assist with historic pricing audits, restatements, or remediation activities as required. Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in state drug transparency reporting, government pricing, pharmaceutical regulatory reporting, or related analytical work. Strong expertise in state drug price transparency laws, reporting triggers, and new drug launch requirements highly preferred . Experience with pharmaceutical pricing models, government programs, and WAC change management preferred. Ability to analyze legislative and regulatory requirements and apply them to reporting activities. Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in data reporting. Ability to manage multiple state deadlines in a fast paced, high compliance environment. Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with Legal, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams. Strong Excel skills; experience with systems such as Model N and transparency reporting platforms preferred. High ethical standards and commitment to compliant reporting. Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational Relationship / Scope This position reports to the Director, Government Contracts and Pricing, and works closely with Legal, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, Compliance, and external state agencies. Position location: Malvern, PA; Bridgewater NJ or Hazelwood, MO This position operates on a hybrid schedule—team members work in the office Tuesday–Thursday and from home on Mondays and Fridays. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
