Strategy & Operations Consultant (hiring from Associate - Director levels)

Location: Fully Remote anywhere in the US

Compensation: Ranges based on level, but consists of a base salary and sizeable bonus (anywhere from 50-120%)

We're partnering with a highly respected strategic advisory firm that is expanding into operational consulting and building a new practice focused on post-acquisition value creation. The firm advises private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate clients across the aerospace, defense, government services (ADG), commercial aviation, and space sectors on complex strategic and transaction-related engagements.

This is a unique opportunity to join an established advisory business with decades of success in transaction advisory while helping launch and grow an adjacent operational consulting practice. Whether you're an Associate looking for increased responsibility or a Director interested in helping shape a growing practice, we'd love to connect.

What You'll Do

• Support and lead operational due diligence and value creation engagements
• Partner with private equity sponsors and portfolio company leadership on strategic initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, organizational effectiveness, and profitability
• Conduct operational assessments, benchmarking, and performance analyses
• Develop executive-level recommendations and implementation roadmaps
• Work directly with senior leadership on complex, high-visibility client engagements

What We're Looking For

• Must have Aerospace, Defense, and/or Government Services Industry experience
• Experience in strategy consulting, operational consulting, transaction advisory, or value creation
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, private equity sponsors, or corporate strategy initiatives
• Background in operational due diligence, post-merger integration, performance improvement, or operational transformation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
