Stream Restoration Construction Manager

Position Title: Stream Restoration Construction Manager ‌ Position Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) ‌ About the Role: The Stream Restoration Construction Manager conducts construction, training, supervises junior staff and interns, and performs other tasks for stream mitigation projects under supervision of the CER Director. This position will be based in Maysville and Carlisle ‌ 1. Conduct stream restoration construction, including surveying/stakeout, earth moving equipment operation, tree removal, sediment and erosion control, etc. Train and supervise junior staff and interns in these tasks. Oversee contractors. 2. Conduct other conservation and related tasks such as assessments, access road construction, invasive plant eradication, native planting, refuse removal, etc. Train and supervise junior staff and interns in these tasks. 3. Assemble and maintain field vehicles, tools, equipment, etc. Update and implement health and safety practices and training. Assist in recruiting and onboarding junior staff and interns.
