Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care job. A Brief Overview The AAS Strong for Life Coordinator is responsible for conducting the Strong for Life exercise program for a group of older adults in a designated community setting, monitoring ongoing progress and providing motivation and encouragement. Strong for Life is an easy-to-follow, evidence-based program designed to improve strength, function, and balance in older adults with or without limitations. Locations Stanford Health Care - this position will work across community centers in San Mateo and/or Santa Clara counties. What you will do Preparation and set up of SFL classes. Supervise classes; assist participants during exercise. Train, supervise, and manage SFL volunteers. Provide monthly and quarterly reports; keep records up-to-date. Process and orient new SFL participants. Establish a relationship with appropriate person at community site; be aware of emergency procedures at site; report concerns. Promote the SFL program through health fairs and other venues, as determined by Program Manager. Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $28.34 - $31.94 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
