Structual Engineer (M/W/D)

Focus on Steel Structures, Flue Gas Ducts and industrial stacks A Structural Engineer at NEM Energy is responsible for the structural assessment and design of flue gas ducts, steel chimneys, foundations, and supporting steel structures. Together with the engineering team you develop a design that ensures structural stability. Your role as Structural Engineer goes further than calculations because you act as the structural specialist in the project team and think innovatively. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer and the Supply Manager within the project. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and evaluate structural concepts, loadings, and design criteria. · Manage and technically coordinate external structural engineering consultants and engineering firms. · Support engineering and project teams in all structural engineering matters throughout project execution. · Foundations and anchoring systems · Prepare scopes of work and technical specifications for external structural engineering contractors according to customer specification and local codes · Ensure compliance with applicable standards, Eurocodes, ASME, ASCE and project-specific requirements. · Determine Environmental Loads in accordance with international standards · Sales Support What do you bring: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, Steel Structures, or a comparable qualification. · 5+ years of professional experience in structural engineering and structural design . · Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and US codes and relevant steel construction standards. · Experience working with external engineering consultants, checking engineers, and certification authorities. · Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working. · FE calculations using Dlubal RFEM or similar. · At least B1 Level of English (verbally and written) · A team player with a positive hands-on attitude and structured way of working What We Offer You · Working in a multicultural and international project environment. · Collaboration with experienced engineering specialists. · Competitive salary and benefits package. · Flexible work environment (60/40 hybrid working model). · Opportunities for professional growth and development. · Participation in challenging and technically demanding international projects.
