Structural Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This is a remote, full-time position for an engineer with a strong background in building structural analysis and design. The ideal candidate is capable of solving engineering problems, performing structural calculations, and designing safe and efficient structural systems.

Please note: This is not a drafting or BIM modeling role. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Revit or AutoCAD drafting without structural engineering and design experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects.
• Develop structural solutions for steel, concrete, and wood-framed structures.
• Perform engineering calculations and hand calculations to validate designs.
• Prepare and review structural models using industry-standard engineering software.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure designs meet applicable codes and project requirements.
• Review and resolve engineering challenges throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in building structural analysis and structural design.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
• Experience designing one or more of the following:
• Steel structures
• Reinforced concrete structures
• Wood structures

• Proficiency in one or more of the following structural engineering software:

STAAD.Pro

ETABS

RAM Structural System

RISA

• Ability to perform engineering hand calculations.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Revit.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with additional structural engineering software is an advantage.
